BLACKPINK, the world-famous K-pop girl group, is finally making a comeback, and it might be just hours away. Fans are super excited because the group is expected to perform a brand-new song during their upcoming concert for the DEADLINE World Tour.
To build excitement, BLACKPINK shared a short video online with the caption “READY TO JUMP?”. The teaser video had strong music beats and electric guitar sounds that got fans talking. At the end of the video, one of the members says the word “Jump,” which makes many fans think this could be the name of the new song.
Their concert is happening on July 5 at 8 PM KST at the Goyang International Stadium in South Korea. This will be their first big concert in a long time, and the first time they have released new music in nearly three years.
Before the concert, member Jisoo also shared a photo on her Instagram story. In it, she is jumping and wrote the caption: “I’m ready to jump with you.” This added even more excitement and made fans feel that something big was coming soon.
But BLACKPINK hasn’t revealed anything else officially. The teaser video was very short, and besides that, they have kept all details secret. This mystery has made fans even more curious and excited. Many fans believe that not only will BLACKPINK perform a new song, but they might also release a music video very soon.
Earlier this week, on July 1, BLACKPINK launched a special interactive website. The website showed the phrase “Do Not Jump,” but the word “Not” had a line through it, making it look like “Do Jump.” Fans immediately started guessing what it meant and if it was a hint about the new song title.
Some fans even joked about it, saying, “Don’t tease us if the song isn’t actually coming!” Others guessed that BLACKPINK’s company, YG Entertainment, was trying to be funny or clever by telling fans not to guess too early.
While a few people thought the possible song title “Jump” sounded a bit childish, most fans didn’t care. What truly matters to them is that Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa are back together and ready to perform again as BLACKPINK.
