Actress Shin Si Ah and K-pop idol Juyeon recently found themselves at the center of dating rumors following the rising attention Shin Si Ah gained through her role in Resident Playbook. Speculation surged when fans began noticing similarities in the duo’s fashion and personal items, which led many to believe they might be secretly dating.

The rumors initially gained traction from their overlapping appearances while filming the short movie Young Young. The two were often seen together during the promotional period, and fans began compiling so-called “lovestagram” evidence. This included photos where both were seen wearing similar hats, jackets, and necklaces, along with matching phone case stickers. The visual parallels fueled online conversations, with fans debating whether it was all a coincidence or an intentional show of subtle affection.

On June 10, however, both sides firmly denied the speculation. Juyeon’s agency, ONE HUNDRED, responded by saying, “After checking, we found that it (the dating rumor) is not true.” Similarly, Shin Si Ah’s agency also issued a clear statement, sharing that they directly confirmed with the actress and the dating rumors were baseless. These official responses helped to put the rumors to rest and clarified that the connection between the two stars was purely professional.

Their joint project, Young Young, is a 19-minute film that explores themes of fate, time, and eternal connection. Directed by GUIOM & WOONG and produced by SL’EX, the short film is rooted in the symbolism of infinity, represented by the number 8 and the Möbius strip. The chemistry between the two actors on-screen was praised by audiences and critics alike, and the film was selected for screening at the 26th Jeonju International Film Festival.

While the rumors may have stirred excitement and speculation among fans, both agencies’ firm denials make it clear that the relationship remains professional, and their shared success in Young Young stands as a creative collaboration, not a romantic one.
