The next One Piece chapter is titled “I Understand Now.” In the cover story, Yamato wins a sumo match against Urashima’s brother, while Kawamatsu watches quietly in the background. It’s a light moment before the heavy events that follow in the main story.
Back in Elbaph, things are getting worse. The island is falling into deeper chaos as Imu continues taking control. He turns more Giants into demon-like monsters, and at the same time, new creatures start appearing. These new monsters are being formed from the fears of scared children, making the situation more dangerous by the minute.
We also get to see Killingham’s hybrid form for the first time. He now has a human face with sharp, spiked teeth, showing how much stronger and scarier he’s become. A short flashback reveals how Chopper saved Scopper Gaban using his Guard Point, shielding him during the destruction.
Later, Luffy senses someone’s presence—a powerful burst of Conqueror’s Haki fills the air. Everyone is surprised to learn that it’s actually Scopper Gaban, a former member of Gol D. Roger’s crew. While someone says Gaban was the third strongest, Gaban himself claims he was second, showing his confidence.
As the fight continues, Imu unleashes another wave of Conqueror’s Haki, causing even more damage. Luffy finally understands what’s really going on and gets serious. The Straw Hats regroup, with Zoro and Sanji returning to the scene to help prepare for a major battle.
The chapter ends with Loki receiving thanks from Mosa, and saying that his strength is still needed. Everyone is now preparing to go head-to-head with Imu in what looks like a massive showdown.
