Sabrina Carpenter has had a super exciting year! She became really, really famous around the world thanks to her hit songs like “Espresso,” “Please Please Please,” “Taste,” and “Bed Chem.” All of these songs are from her sixth album called Short n’ Sweet, and they helped make her a big pop star everywhere.
But she’s not taking a break anytime soon! Sabrina has just shared some big news:
She has a new album coming out this summer, and it’s called Man’s Best Friend. Fans are already talking a lot about it online, especially because the album cover (the photo used for it) is very eye-catching and different.
Lately, Sabrina has also been very busy performing live. Just last weekend, she sang in front of a huge crowd at a big music festival called Primavera Sound in Barcelona. And in July, she’ll be performing two big headline shows at BST Hyde Park in London. She’ll also be joined by other singers like Clairo and Olivia Dean, who will perform alongside her.
Sabrina Carpenter’s new album, Man’s Best Friend, release date
What songs will be on Sabrina Carpenter’s new album Man’s Best Friend?
So far, only the lead single from the album has been revealed; it’s called Manchild. Fans will have to wait a little longer to see the full list of songs that will be on Man’s Best Friend.
Manchild is a synth-pop song, co-written by Sabrina’s longtime collaborators Jack Antonoff and Amy Allen. It has a fun, cheeky tone that fits well with Sabrina’s playful style.
Describing the song on X (formerly Twitter), Sabrina said it’s “the embodiment of a loving eye roll.” She also told fans to “stick your head out the car window and scream it all summer long,” hinting that it’s meant to be a loud, carefree anthem for the season.
