Sabrina Carpenter’s seventh studio album, Man’s Best Friend, is set to come out on 29th August 2025. Fans don’t have to wait to show their excitement; pre-orders are already open on her official website.

Earlier this week, Sabrina announced the release date on Instagram, where she also shared the album’s cover art. The post quickly caught people’s attention because of its striking visuals.

In the first photo, Sabrina is kneeling down while a man, who isn’t fully shown in the picture, pulls her hair. The second image is a close-up of a dog wearing a collar, with the album’s title, Man’s Best Friend, carved into the metal tag.

Alongside the images, she wrote, “My new album, ‘Man’s Best Friend’ is out on August 29, 2025. I can’t wait for it to be yours x. Pre-order now.” Fans are now eagerly waiting to hear what this bold and mysterious new album sounds like.

What songs will be on Sabrina Carpenter’s new album Man’s Best Friend?

So far, only the lead single from the album has been revealed; it’s called Manchild. Fans will have to wait a little longer to see the full list of songs that will be on Man’s Best Friend.

Manchild is a synth-pop song, co-written by Sabrina’s longtime collaborators Jack Antonoff and Amy Allen. It has a fun, cheeky tone that fits well with Sabrina’s playful style.

Describing the song on X (formerly Twitter), Sabrina said it’s “the embodiment of a loving eye roll.” She also told fans to “stick your head out the car window and scream it all summer long,” hinting that it’s meant to be a loud, carefree anthem for the season.
