JoJo Siwa isn’t holding back anymore. The girl is in love, and she’s letting the world know it! In a brand-new interview with The Guardian, JoJo Siwa, 22, gushed about her relationship with former Love Island star Chris Hughes, 32, and confirmed what fans have been guessing for weeks: they’re not just friends, they’re full-on romantically involved.
“It’s not platonic anymore,” JoJo shared with a huge smile. “It’s turned into something really special. We’ve built this amazing connection, and I’m totally head over heels for him, and luckily, he feels the same way about me.”

These two first crossed paths earlier this year as contestants on Celebrity Big Brother UK, and people immediately picked up on their chemistry. Chris recently took things up a notch by sharing sweet moments with JoJo’s family on Instagram Stories. Yep, he was seen hanging out with her mom, Jessalynn, and dad, Tom, which, let’s be real, is a pretty major relationship milestone.
And then there was the Snapchat that got people talking. On Sunday, June 1, Chris posted a cosy snap of himself lying shirtless in bed, gently kissing JoJo on the forehead. He captioned it, “Sleeeepinnn beauty,” and the internet pretty much melted.
JoJo also opened up about an ultra-intimate moment with him during a lazy morning. Picture this: she’s chilling in bed, scrolling through her phone, while Chris softly sings one of her songs beside her. It’s giving a fairytale, but modern.
“You know when you’re completely alone, just being your raw, unfiltered self?” she said to The Guardian. “I’ve felt that before, sure, but never in the presence of just one person.”
