In a video posted by the singer himself, you can see him giving Tom Cruise a big, warm hug at what looks like the movie’s premiere. The official Mission: Impossible social media also shared the clip with the fun caption, “Can’t feel my face with this crossover,” playing on one of The Weeknd’s biggest hits.
On Instagram, The Weeknd—also known as Abel Tesfaye—posted a photo with Cruise on the red carpet. Tom Cruise looked sharp in all black and wore a big smile, while The Weeknd matched the vibe, sporting a black leather jacket, black pants, and holding his signature black sunglasses.
Captioning the post, The Weeknd wrote, “Had to pull up for the greatest to ever do it @tomcruise FINAL RECKONING! DON’T MISS IT. just saw it on the biggest screen in the east coast.”
Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning wraps up the much-loved spy franchise and is a sequel to the 2023 film Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. But don’t worry—this isn’t the last time we’ll see Tom Cruise in action. He’s got big plans ahead with sequels to Top Gun and Days of Thunder in the works.
