Chris Brown, the famous R&B singer, has had a really rough history when it comes to legal trouble and violent incidents. Over the years, his reputation has taken a serious hit because of all these issues. Just recently, he was arrested in Manchester, England, accused of hurting a music producer named Abe Diaw by hitting him with a tequila bottle in a nightclub. 2009 – Assault on Rihanna:
This is probably the most infamous incident. The night before the Grammy Awards in 2009, Chris Brown physically attacked his then-girlfriend Rihanna. Photos of Rihanna’s injuries spread all over the internet, shocking fans and the public. Brown was arrested and later admitted to the assault. He was put on probation for five years, had to go to domestic violence counseling for a year, and did community service for six months. This incident seriously damaged his public image.
2012 – Nightclub Fight:
In 2012, Chris Brown got involved in a big fight at a nightclub in New York City. The brawl also involved rapper Drake, and a few people got hurt, including NBA player Tony Parker.
2013 – Hit-and-Run & Probation Issues:
That year, Brown’s probation was taken away after he was involved in a hit-and-run car accident in Los Angeles. Although the charges didn’t stick, he was ordered to do 1,000 more hours of community service.
