Walton Goggins’ wife, Nadia Conners, has finally addressed the swirling rumors about a romance between Goggins and his The White Lotus co-star Aimee Lou Wood. The speculation began after the actors portrayed a couple with a notable age gap in the show’s third season, sparking chatter that their on-screen chemistry spilled into real life.
In an interview with Hello! Magazine, Conners brushed off the gossip, explaining that the public’s reaction stems from how deeply viewers connected with the fictional relationship. She also saw the buzz as a sign of her husband’s growing popularity following the show’s success. “It’s odd to see it, but it’s a sign of how much people were invested in the fictional characters. I take it as an indication that he’s become quite popular,” she said.
Goggins and Conners have been married since 2011 and share a 14-year-old son. The couple recently worked together on the film The Uninvited, with Conners directing and Goggins starring. Despite some creative tension due to their strong personalities, Goggins said they managed to build a productive collaboration.
Rumors took another twist earlier this year when Goggins and Wood briefly unfollowed each other on Instagram amid tensions sparked by a Saturday Night Live parody mocking Wood’s accent and appearance. While Goggins responded with humor, Wood publicly condemned the skit and was seen upset afterward. The SNL cast member involved later apologized, and the parties sought to resolve the conflict privately.
Wood later confirmed that she and Goggins had recently spent time together and maintained a friendly relationship, noting they were only now processing their intense work experience on the show. The two both attended the 2025 Met Gala but arrived separately and did not walk the red carpet together. They have since unfollowed and then refollowed each other on social media, hinting that any feud is likely behind them.
