Kylie Jenner is still deeply grieving the loss of her longtime hairstylist and close friend, Jesus Guerrero, who unexpectedly passed away at just 34 years old two months ago.
On May 8, Kylie shared some heartfelt Instagram Stories to remember Jesus. One touching photo showed her, Jesus, and her daughter Stormi making pizzas together, and Kylie wrote that she thinks about him “every day.” In another post, she included a mirror selfie with Jesus and her longtime makeup artist Ariel Tejada, calling them “my family,” showing how close they all were. Other clips showed Jesus sitting outside at a restaurant and walking arm-in-arm with Kylie down a city street — moments that highlight their deep bond.
Jesus’s family first announced his death on February 23 via Instagram Stories. Just two days later, Kylie posted a moving tribute, reflecting on nearly ten years of friendship. She described Jesus as a bright light in her life, full of love, comfort, and strength, someone who helped her through the toughest times. She called him a true artist whose impact would last forever.
In her tribute, Kylie said, “Jesus was more than my friend — he was a light in my life, a source of laughter, comfort, love, and unwavering support. I don’t know how I would have made it through the last almost decade without him by my side. He had a way of making even the heaviest days feel lighter.”
Sources close to Kylie told People that she was heartbroken by Jesus’s passing, describing it as a shocking blow. They added that she has been supporting his family both emotionally and financially. In fact, Jesus’s family later updated the GoFundMe page originally set up to help with funeral costs, saying Kylie had already covered those expenses and was providing additional assistance.
The exact cause of Jesus Guerrero’s death has not been made public. Up until his passing, he had been actively working with Kylie and other stars like Jennifer Lopez, including traveling internationally for work.
