In a short video shared by French designer Haider Ackermann, Kylie is seen lovingly using a lint roller on Chalamet’s suit as he prepares for the 70th David Di Donatello Awards in Rome on May 7. Timmy, dressed in a sharp double-breasted Tom Ford suit adorned with a white lapel flower, was later celebrated for receiving an award at the event. Ackermann posted a screen grab of a FaceTime call with Chalamet before the red carpet, captioning it, “TEAMWORK. Miss K, you’re hired!!”
Kylie, meanwhile, stunned in a fitted black Schiaparelli gown—and proudly shared that she did her own makeup and hair for the night, captioning her photos with, “Makeup by meee.”
While some fans were quick to label the moment as “cute” and “wifey behavior,” others saw it as over-the-top. Critics chimed in with remarks about Kylie playing a “mommy” role, suggesting the relationship feels more like a PR performance than a genuine bond.

Their relationship, which started in spring 2023, had been expected to make a splash at the Met Gala earlier this month. But the pair skipped the high-fashion frenzy, reportedly because Timmy didn’t want to miss the Knicks game. A source told the Daily Mail: “They didn’t want to do the whole song and dance of it all together because it would have felt more like a chore over a fun date night.”
