In ‘Could It Be I’ve Gained Some Weight?,’ Mako notices she’s put on weight after struggling to fit into a new skirt. To get back in shape, she skips snacks and heads to the gym with Nana and Tsutsuji, while Shinon and Kurea stay behind to work on an abstract for the university showcase.
After training hard, Mako finally fits into the skirt but keeps up with her diet. One morning, tired from a run, she joins her friends at the clubroom, who take her out to a burger place for a photo shoot. Tsutsuji advises her to find a good balance between eating and exercising.
Episode 7 will follow the Food Culture Research Club as they celebrate summer with outdoor fun like beach trips, barbecues, and food festivals featuring seasonal Japanese dishes. With Mako’s story wrapped up, the episode may focus more on Tsutsuji’s calm support and explore different summer ingredients and traditional foods as the group bonds over shared meals.
