Anne Shirley Episode 7, titled “I’ve Been Making Mistakes, But Each Mistake Has Helped to Cure Me of My Shortcomings,” starts off with Anne and her friends acting out a scene from the legend of Elaine. Later on, Miss Stacy encourages Anne to join the advanced class at Queen’s Academy, which is a big deal. Anne wrestles with her future dreams and what she wants to do, but after some soul-searching, she decides teaching might be her calling. The episode wraps up on a serious note—just as the school term ends, Miss Stacy confirms she’ll be staying on, but then Matthew suddenly collapses, leaving everyone worried.
What’s coming next in Episode 8? It’s called “I Don’t Want to Be Anyone but Myself.” Anne waits anxiously for her results from the Queen’s Academy entrance exam. The suspense is real, but then Diana brings fantastic news: Anne didn’t just pass—she was the top student on Prince Edward Island!
Anne’s next challenge is a big concert at the White Sands Hotel, performing in front of fancy, professional guests. She starts to freeze mid-performance but then spots Gilbert in the audience. His presence gives her the courage she needs to finish strong, winning a big round of applause.
