Kylie Jenner struggled with her shoes after she walked the Met Gala blue carpet

Kylie Jenner stunned at the 2025 Met Gala, walking the iconic blue carpet in a chic grey and black ensemble, paired with sleek black heels. But while her look screamed fashion-forward, her feet were silently screaming for help.

Turns out, the mother of two ran into a literal foot trap situation thanks to a styling tip gone wrong. Her designer, Max, advised her to tape her feet into the shoes to keep them perfectly in place for the night. Sounds clever, right? Except… things got messy.

In a behind-the-scenes video posted to her social media, Kylie is seen squirming in pain while removing the tape that had been glued to the bottom of her foot. “Max told me to tape my feet into the shoes, and now my feet are stuck in the shoes,” she said with a half-laugh, half-wince.

Thankfully, it all ended well. She later posted a photo showing off her flawless pedicure and reassured fans with a simple caption: “They’re okay.”

While Kylie walked the carpet solo, her boyfriend, Dune star Timothée Chalamet, opted for a more laid-back evening. According to his Instagram stories, he was having a boys’ night—watching the NBA playoffs, casually dressed, and lounging with friends. In one snap, he was even seen playing the Celtics game on a tiny tablet. Talk about two very different Mondays.

Back on the glam front, Kylie made sure fans were part of her prep journey. Hours before the gala, she dropped a few teasers: makeup brushes, lipsticks, blush, foundation—basically her whole glam squad in product form. She also gave a tiny peek at her outfit before unveiling the full look on the blue carpet at the Met.

Kylie wasn’t the only Jenner-Kardashian to serve looks. Her sisters, Kendall Jenner and Kim Kardashian, also showed up in theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” turning heads and posing like pros.

Moral of the story? Beauty might be pain, but if you’re Kylie Jenner, it’s also content.
