Walton Goggins abruptly ended an interview with The Times of London after growing visibly frustrated with repeated questions about his White Lotus co-star, Aimee Lou Wood. The actor’s U.S. publicist quickly stepped in to cut the conversation short when the reporter persisted on the topic despite Goggins’ clear desire to move on.

The interview was originally meant to promote The Uninvited, a film directed by Goggins’ wife, Nadia Conners. However, journalist Ed Potton kept steering the conversation back to rumors of tension between Goggins and Wood that have been swirling online since the White Lotus Season 3 finale.

When Potton again tried to bring up Wood, Goggins quipped, “Thinly veiled, my friend,” pointing out the reporter’s apparent lack of interest in discussing the movie. Potton admitted the film was “decent,” but said “the more interesting stuff lies elsewhere.”

Goggins dismissed the alleged feud, saying, “There is no conversation to be had about that. Sharing politics on social media — it’s in a vacuum.” After one final push from the interviewer, Goggins exclaimed, “What the fuck, Ed! Come on, buddy. Wow,” and the interview was promptly ended by his publicist with, “We’re going to end it here.”

The rumors of a rift emerged after a Saturday Night Live sketch parodied Wood’s character, Chelsea, in White Lotus. Wood called the sketch “mean” and “unfunny,” criticizing its exaggeration of her appearance on Instagram. Meanwhile, Goggins initially reacted with a laughing comment on the SNL post but later deleted it, fueling speculation about behind-the-scenes tension.

Both actors are expected to be Emmy contenders for their performances in The White Lotus Season 3, which also features stars like Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Jason Isaacs, Lalisa Manobal, Michelle Monaghan, Sam Nivola, Parker Posey, and Patrick Schwarzenegger.
