JoJo Siwa is sharing more details about her short-lived romance with Australian influencer Kath Ebbs, and how it all came to a dramatic end during her time on Celebrity Big Brother. The former Dance Moms star talked about the split on The Viall Files podcast, revealing that the relationship ended not long after the show wrapped filming — and emotions were running high.

Ebbs, who uses they/them pronouns, had earlier posted a now-deleted TikTok where they claimed Siwa dumped them at the Big Brother wrap party. But Siwa says there’s more to the story.

According to Siwa, things started to unravel when the show ended. She says Ebbs didn’t want to attend the cast party, but JoJo decided to go anyway. She explained that she needed a bit of space — time to have fun, reflect, check in with her mom, and just be alone to sort out her thoughts.

She even suggested to Ebbs that they take some time apart that evening and reconnect the next morning. But that didn’t sit well with Ebbs. “That upset them — rightfully so,” Siwa said, acknowledging their feelings.

As the night went on, Siwa says the situation got tense. While she went to the party, Ebbs went back to their hotel. Later that evening, Siwa said she received messages that Ebbs had changed their mind and wanted to talk.

What followed, according to Siwa, was an uncomfortable and emotional conversation. “They kept asking me questions, and all I could say was ‘I don’t know,’” she said. The exchange got heated, and Siwa claims she was “cussed out” — all while still at the Big Brother wrap party.

Things escalated even more when, according to Siwa, Ebbs asked for a business-class ticket home. “You don’t get to ask me for a business class flight and then yell at me like that,” she said.

Adding to the drama, in Ebbs’ since-deleted TikTok, they hinted that fellow CBB castmate Chris Hughes may have had something to do with the breakup. JoJo quickly shut down those rumors, clarifying that her relationship with Chris is strictly platonic. She even said it’s one of the most “special” friendships she’s ever had, but nothing romantic.

In the end, it seems the relationship between Siwa and Ebbs came down to mismatched expectations, poor timing, and the intense emotions that often follow reality TV. Both have since gone their separate ways — but not without leaving fans with plenty to talk about.
