Euphoria fans have reason to celebrate as Jacob Elordi, who plays Nate Jacobs, has officially confirmed that filming for Season 3 has kicked off! In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Elordi shared that he had already shot his first few scenes, expressing how special it was to return to the set after the long break since the previous season.
He described the experience as “incredible,” noting the emotional significance of revisiting the show and working with his costars, including Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, and Sydney Sweeney. Elordi reflected on how much he and his colleagues have grown since the show’s early days, saying it felt like stepping into a “time capsule” where everything felt familiar.
Fans have been eagerly anticipating the return of the hit HBO series, and while several leaked videos have started circulating, giving a sneak peek of what’s to come—such as a potential wedding between Cassie (Sweeney) and Nate, and a heated argument involving Rue (Zendaya) and Priscilla Delgado’s character—official details remain scarce.
The delays in production have only added to the anticipation. The third season was originally expected to begin filming in December 2023 but was postponed due to the Hollywood strikes, as well as scheduling conflicts among the cast. Tragically, the deaths of Angus Cloud (Fezco O’Neill) and executive producer Kevin Turen also impacted the show’s timeline. As a result, the start of production was delayed to January 2025, and the season premiere is expected to arrive in late 2025 or 2026.
Season 3 is rumored to feature a significant time jump, moving the characters beyond their high school years into the next stages of their lives. While many core cast members are returning, Algee Smith, Storm Reid, Barbie Ferreira, and Nika King are reportedly not coming back, leaving fans to wonder about the fates of their characters.
