NBC’s Night Court is wrapping up Season 3 with an exciting and star-studded finale, airing May 6 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT. The finale will feature guest appearances from The Big Bang Theory‘s Simon Helberg and Young Sheldon‘s Raegan Revord, both of whom will join series lead and executive producer Melissa Rauch. Fans of the original CBS sitcom will be especially thrilled to see Rauch and Helberg, who once portrayed the beloved couple Bernadette and Howard, reunite on screen in an entirely new courtroom setting.
While details about Helberg’s character remain under wraps, his role promises to shake things up for Abby (Rauch), leading to unexpected twists and drama. Revord, meanwhile, will play Shelby, a teenage runaway with big plans to marry her soulmate—a storyline that references a classic 1984 Night Court episode featuring a young Michael J. Fox.
The two back-to-back episodes in the finale include “Funnest Judge in the City,” where Abby grows suspicious of a new “fun judge” who may not be what he seems, and “A Decent Proposal,” in which Abby faces a dilemma involving two runaway teens determined to marry. Additionally, Dan and Julianne explore their evolving bond, and a surprise guest will leave Abby’s world turned upside down.
With appearances from fan favorites like Marsha Warfield (as Roz) and guest stars Michael Urie and Ryan Hansen, the finale promises a mix of nostalgia, comedy, and heart. Whether you’re a fan of The Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon, or the original Night Court, this season-ending crossover event is sure to be a must-watch.
