With its shocking season finale titled Full Circle recently airing, fans are now buzzing with one big question: will there be a season 4?
As of now, there’s no official word from Showtime or Paramount+ about renewing Yellowjackets for another season. But there are a few promising signs that suggest season 4 is likely.
According to PEOPLE, the show’s ratings have been on the rise, which definitely helps its chances. Back in February, Paramount Global announced that the premiere of season 3 outperformed the debut of season 2, pulling in just over 2 million viewers across both Showtime and Paramount+, according to Variety. And the momentum didn’t stop there—Deadline reported that season 3’s viewership on Paramount+ with Showtime grew by 39% compared to season 2 by the following month.
So while a renewal hasn’t been officially confirmed, the numbers suggest strong viewer interest—and that kind of audience growth is hard to ignore.
In terms of when a possible fourth season might arrive, it’s still too soon to say. Nothing is set in stone yet. But looking at the show’s past release schedule gives us a clue: season 1 premiered in November 2021, season 2 followed in March 2023, and season 3 dropped in February 2025. That pattern shows there’s typically a one-and-a-half to two-year gap between seasons.
If that trend continues, fans might expect season 4—if greenlit—to arrive sometime in 2027.
