Gypsy-Rose Blanchard is opening up about the real-life ups and downs of love, pregnancy, and staying connected. In a new episode of Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up, the 33-year-old reality star got candid about how things have shifted between her and boyfriend Ken Urker since she became pregnant with their first child.
While shopping for lingerie ahead of their baby moon, Gypsy-Rose joked and reflected on how their once-fiery romance has calmed a bit. “I just wanted something I could feel comfortable in, but still something sexy,” she told her friend as she browsed through silky nightwear and fluffy handcuffs.
She admitted that when she and Ken first reconnected after her release, the spark was instant. “Our first weekend together, it was like a floodgate,” she said. “Now it’s harder. Work, schedules—it gets in the way. But I miss that spark, and I want it back.”
While checking out some adult boutique goodies, Gypsy-Rose revealed that many of the items they bought earlier in the relationship still haven’t been used. “We had all this stuff before I got pregnant,” she said with a smirk. When her friend asked about one particular toy, she laughed and said, “Nope, haven’t used that yet—but I’m the freak in the relationship. I’m definitely the most adventurous girlfriend he’s had!”
Despite the lull in their physical intimacy, Gypsy-Rose emphasized how important open communication has been for them. She previously shared that their chemistry was built on “seven years of built-up tension,” and it felt natural and comforting when they finally reunited. That foundation is helping them navigate the changes that come with pregnancy.
Recently, the couple enjoyed their first official date night since announcing their pregnancy with daughter Aurora. While the spark might not always burn as bright, Gypsy-Rose is determined to keep their bond strong. “I’m not rushing into marriage,” she said honestly. “Is everything rainbows and sunshine? Hell no. But we’re figuring it out.”
