Tesla, Inc. also edged up by 0.13%, trading at 338.23 USD, and holding a market cap of 1.09 trillion USD. Among the biggest losers, Palantir Technologies Inc. dropped by 7.81%, bringing its stock price to 93.44 USD, with a market cap of 219.14 billion USD, as the stock is impacted by Pentagon’s probable defense rate cuts for the upcoming years.
Meta Platforms, Inc. also fell by 1.62%, with its stock price at 672.50 USD, and a market cap of 1.7 trillion USD, as the stock continued with its negative rally from the past week. On the other hand, Apple Inc. saw a 1.00% increase, bringing its stock price to 248.00 USD, with a market capitalization of 3.73 trillion USD. Apple’s stock surged on Monday after the iPhone maker company expressed its investment plans in the country in the upcoming four years.
Microsoft Corporation, however, slipped by 1.04%, trading at 403.98 USD, with a market cap of 3 trillion USD. According to a report by Bloomberg, Microsoft has begun to cancel leases for AI data center capacity in the U.S., raising distress regarding whether the OpenAI backer is developing more AI computing power than needed over the long term, resulting in the stock’s decline on Monday. Other notable declines included Amazon.com, Inc., which dropped by 0.99% to 214.45 USD, with a market cap of 2.27 trillion USD.
Finally, MicroStrategy Incorporated saw a decline of 1.82%, trading at 294.24 USD, with a market cap of 75.97 billion USD.
