As Taylor Swift’s blockbuster Eras Tour approaches its final leg, fans in New Orleans are going to great lengths to secure their spot at the highly anticipated concert. One Swiftie, Rebecca Fox, has taken her fandom to an extraordinary level by booking 191 hotel rooms for fellow Swift fans, making the Swiftie community feel right at home in the heart of the city.

Craze for Taylor Swift’s upcoming shows in New Orleans:

Fox, a die-hard Swiftie, secured the rooms at the Holiday Inn New Orleans-Downtown Superdome hotel shortly after Swift announced her tour dates. The hotel rooms, booked for four nights, are being resold to fellow fans at $500 per person—a relative bargain considering the skyrocketing prices in the area, with nightly rates reaching as high as $829 plus taxes. Tickets to Swift’s sold-out concert are going for up to $1,000 on resale platforms, making affordable accommodations even more critical for fans.

Fox’s initiative is part of what she has dubbed the “Holiday House,” a Swiftie-themed convention running from October 24 to October 28 to coincide with Swift’s performances. The event will feature a variety of activities, all of which are either Taylor Swift-themed or designed to celebrate New Orleans culture. Among the planned events are friendship bracelet-making sessions, scavenger hunts, and a series of fan-driven activities inspired by Swift’s music.

“Everything that we’re doing is either Taylor-themed or New Orleans-themed,” Fox explained in an interview with People. Her goal, she says, is to provide an immersive experience for fans attending the Eras Tour while fostering a sense of community among Swifties. The inspiration for the event comes from Fox’s own experience attending Swift’s tour earlier this year, which left a lasting impact on her.

“Before this, I literally only knew one other Swiftie in New Orleans, and now I have probably 40 really, really dear friends that live here, and I have thousands all over the world,” Fox shared.

As Swift’s tour enters its final stretch, thousands of fans are expected to join Fox and her fellow Swifties at the “Holiday House,” making it one of the most talked-about fan gatherings during Swift’s tour.
