David and Victoria Beckham have made a major real estate splash, purchasing a $77 million (£60 million) waterfront mansion in Miami, as the power couple continues to expand their global property portfolio. The nine-bedroom luxury estate, which boasts 13 bathrooms, was built in 2018 and offers the Beckhams the perfect base in Florida, keeping them close to David’s co-owned Major League Soccer team, Inter Miami CF.

The mansion, located in Miami’s elite neighborhood, features a range of stunning amenities, including a chef’s kitchen, private cinema, gym, spa, and an outdoor swimming pool. David Beckham, 48, was spotted inspecting the property on Sunday, arriving in style in a McLaren 750S, priced at $311,000. He appeared relaxed as he smiled for photographers, sporting a pink Inter Miami hat, casual white T-shirt, and Adidas sneakers named after the team’s star player, Lionel Messi.

With 124 feet of frontage on Biscayne Bay, the property offers breathtaking water views and includes a rooftop lounge, waterfront deck, and mooring space for a yacht. The Beckhams will be joining a star-studded neighborhood, with fellow celebrities like pop star Shakira and Bee Gees icon Barry Gibb as neighbors.

This latest acquisition is a significant addition to the Beckham’s extensive property portfolio. The couple already owns a $37 million (£31 million) townhouse in London’s prestigious Holland Park and a $15 million (£12 million) countryside estate in the Cotswolds. They also maintain a full-floor, five-bedroom penthouse in downtown Miami, purchased in 2020 for $22 million (£18 million).

While David’s connection to Miami stems from his involvement with Inter Miami CF, sources indicate that Victoria, 49, played a key role in pushing for the move. The entire Beckham family had previously visited the estate, with insiders revealing that “everyone loves it.”

According to long-time celebrity columnist Jose Lambiet, the Beckhams have firmly established themselves in Miami’s elite social circles. “David is now seen as a society figure in South Florida,” Lambiet told the Mail. “Miami is a place where he and Victoria can be comfortable. There are hundreds of celebrities here.”

As the Beckhams prepare to move into their new home early next year, their reign as the unofficial “King and Queen of Miami” is well underway.
