Fans of the iconic series Peaky Blinders are buzzing with excitement as filming for the upcoming feature-length film is underway. British actor Stephen Graham has been spotted on set for the first time in Birmingham, just hours after his co-star Cillian Murphy was seen filming scenes in the city.

On Monday night, Graham was seen dressed in period costume aboard a narrowboat outside the Tap and Spile pub on Gas Street Basin. His character, Hayden Stagg, was last seen in the series finale, but it remains unclear whether he will reprise this role in the film titled *The Immortal Man*.
Cillian Murphy’s return as Tommy Shelby
Meanwhile, Cillian Murphy, who portrays the infamous Tommy Shelby, was photographed in character wearing his signature flat cap. The Oscar-winning actor was also seen on horseback in Birmingham, adding to the film’s authentic atmosphere, with blood trickling down his face during one of the scenes.
The Immortal Man promises to deliver a thrilling continuation of the Shelby family saga, featuring a star-studded cast that includes Barry Keoghan, Rebecca Ferguson, and Tim Roth. The film is expected to follow the family’s fortunes during the Second World War, picking up years after the events of the beloved BBC series, which ran from 2013 to 2022.
The production has taken over parts of Birmingham, with parking suspensions in place from October 20 to 22 as crews film around the city. Local fans are eager to witness the star-studded cast in action. Hayley Morris, a 19-year-old student and die-hard *Peaky Blinders* fan, expressed her enthusiasm: “It’s brilliant they are filming lots of it in Birmingham, as that’s where it’s all set. It can only be a good thing for the city.”
Birmingham City Centre is not the only location where film crews have been spotted. Fans have taken to social media, sharing photos and speculating about additional filming locations, including Bumble Hole, Netherton. While a release date for ‘The Immortal Man’ has yet to be confirmed, anticipation is building as fans eagerly await the Shelby family’s return to the screen.
