Fiona Harvey’s quest for compensation seems to have taken an interesting turn, as she now sets her sights on Piers Morgan following her appearance on his show. In her latest move, she’s demanding significantly more than the initial £250 she received for the interview, claiming that the amount is insufficient given the circumstances.
According to Harvey, her dissatisfaction stems from the lack of documentation proving that the £250 payment is standard for guests on Morgan’s show. She asserts that she has not signed a contract for the interview and is seeking a much larger sum as compensation.
Harvey’s new target figure? A cool one million British pounds, equivalent to $1.25 million in U.S. dollars. While her demand raises eyebrows, it’s worth questioning whether her claims hold water, especially considering her track record of dubious assertions, such as her denial of receiving a restraining order or facing police involvement.
Contrary to Harvey’s stance, Morgan has countered her allegations, asserting that she was paid a fair amount comparable to what the majority of guests on his show receive. He clarified during an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine that they provided Harvey with the standard compensation, which included covering expenses like a haircut and transportation.
Despite Harvey’s bold demands, her efforts to secure more money from Morgan have thus far yielded no tangible results. Instead, she appears to be relying on public declarations of her intentions, with no indication of any progress toward achieving her desired compensation.
