Just like Wordle, Connections, and the Mini Crossword, Strands can be challenging on certain days. It’s completely okay to seek assistance occasionally. If you’re stuck and need the solutions for today’s Strands puzzle, you can find the completed puzzle below.
How to Play NYT Strands
In Strands, your objective is to identify the “theme words” hidden within a grid of letters. You can move letters by dragging or tapping them to form words, and you confirm a word by double-tapping the final letter. When you find a correct word, it will be highlighted in blue and become unselectable.
Even if you discover a word that isn’t one of the theme words, it’s still beneficial! For every three non-theme words you find that are at least four letters long, you’ll receive a hint—one of the theme words’ letters will be revealed, and you’ll need to unscramble it.
Each letter in the grid is used to spell out the theme words, with no overlap. Every letter is used once and only once.
Each puzzle features one “spangram,” a special theme word (or words) that describe the puzzle’s theme and spans from one side of the board to the opposite side. When you identify the spangram, it will be highlighted in yellow.
Your aim should be to complete the puzzle quickly and with minimal hints.
