Zendaya, known for her role in “Euphoria,” recently discussed the possibility of reigniting her music career during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show. When asked about her previous ventures in music, Zendaya expressed her love for music but also acknowledged the challenges of the music industry, particularly when business aspects come into play.
Reflecting on her self-titled debut album released in 2013, which featured the popular single “Replay,” Zendaya revealed that while music remains special to her, she has focused more on her acting career in recent years, with successful projects like “Dune 2” and “Euphoria.”
Regarding the prospect of returning to music, Zendaya emphasized that she would release new music when the timing feels right. She mentioned her enjoyment of creating music for herself but emphasized the importance of waiting for the perfect moment. Despite fans’ anticipation, Zendaya cautioned against getting too excited, suggesting that any music releases would depend on the circumstances.
Although Zendaya hasn’t released solo music recently, she has collaborated with other artists, including Labrinth, who composed the soundtrack for “Euphoria.” She recalled her surprise performance with Labrinth at Coachella in 2023, where they performed songs like “I’m Tired” and “All For Us.” Despite initial apprehension stemming from childhood performance memories, Zendaya recognized that she couldn’t avoid performing forever. Coachella marked her first live performance in over seven years, showcasing her admiration for Labrinth’s talent and overcoming her fears.
