Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s romantic journey has been marked by both public scrutiny and private revelations. While the actress, famed for her roles in “Jennifer’s Body” and “Transformers,” hasn’t divulged all the details of their current status, she did confirm that they briefly called off their engagement at one point.
During an episode of Call Her Daddy, Megan acknowledged the accuracy of certain reports about their relationship, recognizing that they might be perplexing or intriguing to outsiders. The couple, who became engaged in January 2022, faced breakup rumors in February 2023 when Megan shared cryptic photos referencing Beyoncé’s “Lemonade.” However, she later clarified in a now-deleted Instagram post that there were no infidelity allegations.
Despite the public interest, Megan has been reticent about sharing too much about her relationship with the rapper. In a conversation with Alex Cooper, she reflected on how being in this relationship has taught her about the importance of privacy. She realized that some aspects of her personal life were not meant for public consumption, which is why she’s hesitant to divulge their current status. Nonetheless, she expressed a deep connection with MGK, describing him as her “twin soul,” suggesting that their bond remains strong.
Megan’s statements come after the release of her poetry book, “Pretty Boys Are Poisonous,” which delves into her relationship with MGK. She clarified that everything she wrote about him in the book is already expressed in his music, though she understands it may still be challenging for him to see her writing about their relationship. Despite this, she praised MGK for being supportive throughout her creative journey.
During an interview on The Drew Barrymore Show, Megan also opened up about her miscarriage experience, highlighting MGK’s understanding of her need for self-expression. As an actor, she lacks the same outlet for personal expression as he does with his music. Recognizing this, MGK has been supportive of her desire to share her experiences and pain through her work, illustrating the depth of their mutual care and understanding in their relationship.
