According to a report in Chinese state media, Apple CEO Tim Cook announced during his visit to China that the company will launch Vision Pro headphones in China this year.

In a video shared on one of the CCTV accounts on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, Cook responded positively when asked whether the Vision Pro would appear in China in 2024.

Apple’s virtual and augmented reality headsets went on sale in the United States in February, starting at $3,500. With the launch in China, Apple will enter a market already dominated by local headphone makers such as Pico, which is owned by TikTok’s parent company ByteDance.
