Zachery Ty Bryan’s recent arrest in February 2024 has brought forth a slew of charges against the former “Home Improvement” star. Initially arrested for suspected driving under the influence, it was later revealed that Bryan faces additional charges, including misdemeanor contempt of court, hit and run, and property damage felony. This marks his fourth DUI charge within a span of 10 years, according to court documents.
The arrest occurred during a traffic stop conducted by La Quinta Sheriff’s Station deputies in La Quinta, California. Bryan’s vehicle matched the description of a suspected vehicle involved in a traffic collision, leading to the traffic stop. Deputies observed indications of impairment in Bryan, who was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence and having prior similar charges. He was then booked into Riverside County Jail.
This incident isn’t Bryan’s first brush with the law. In 2020, he was arrested for an alleged domestic violence incident, followed by similar incidents in 2023. Bryan was convicted on two counts related to domestic violence before his recent arrest. In a separate incident in Oregon, he was booked for assault in the fourth degree, resulting in a guilty plea and a sentence of one week in jail, 36 months of supervised probation, and other court-ordered conditions, including no contact with the victim without probation officer approval and substance abuse treatment.
It’s clear that Zachery Ty Bryan’s legal troubles have escalated, with a pattern of behavior involving alcohol-related offenses and domestic violence allegations. These developments highlight the importance of seeking help and support for individuals struggling with substance abuse or domestic violence issues.
