Pokémon GO has officially marked the calendar for its next major season, giving players four key dates to watch for Community Day events. While the current season, Precious Paths, is still wrapping up with events like the Precious Pals debut of Shiny Fidough, fans are already looking ahead to the spring. Community Days are the most anticipated monthly events because they offer a massive boost to encounter rates for a specific Pokémon, along with much higher shiny odds and exclusive moves.

The upcoming dates for these events are Saturday, March 14; Saturday, April 11; and Saturday, May 9. Additionally, a Community Day Classic is scheduled for Saturday, May 16, which usually brings back a popular Pokémon from a past event for those who missed it. While the specific Pokémon for these dates haven’t been named yet, the timing suggests they will lead into the massive summer celebrations like Pokémon GO Fest 2026.

Beyond the main Community Days, the spring schedule is packed with other specialized events. Players can look forward to a Max Battle Day on March 28 and April 25, which focuses on the game’s growing Dynamax mechanics. There is also a Shadow Raid Day set for May 2, likely featuring a powerful legendary Pokémon that has been corrupted by Team GO Rocket. Other dates include a Research Day on March 21 and a Hatch Day on April 18, ensuring there is something to do almost every weekend.

This news comes during a major transition period for the game. In 2025, Scopely took over the management and development of the Pokémon GO series after a multi-billion dollar acquisition. Fans have noticed that while the core gameplay remains the same, the frequency of events and the introduction of new Pokémon from the Paldea region (Generation 9) have accelerated. With the 2026 schedule now unfolding, many are speculating if we will finally see the debut of Generation 10 later this year.

For players still active in the current month, don’t forget that the Into the Depths event begins on January 27. This will introduce Glimmet, a unique Rock/Poison-type Pokémon from the newer games. Between these final January updates and the newly revealed spring roadmap, 2026 is shaping up to be one of the busiest years in the game’s decade-long history.
