Masashi Kishimoto created a deep world in Naruto built on a power called Chakra. This energy lets ninjas use three main skills. There is Ninjutsu for physical attacks and Taijutsu for hand-to-hand fighting. Then there is Genjutsu which is the art of illusions. Many fans think Genjutsu is the most underrated skill because it wins fights by attacking the mind instead of the body.
Genjutsu works by messing with the chakra in a person’s brain. It makes them see and feel things that are not actually happening. It is a trick that can make a second feel like a lifetime of pain. While many ninjas use it, the Uchiha clan is the most famous for this art. Itachi Uchiha was known as the best for a long time. He was a genius who could trap people in a nightmare called Tsukuyomi.
Itachi was so talented that he had the wisdom of a leader when he was only seven years old. His special eye could control time and space in a dream world. He used this to beat powerful enemies in an instant. Most people thought nobody would ever be better than him at these mental attacks. Even his younger brother Sasuke started out much weaker in this area.
As the story went on, Sasuke grew much stronger. At first, his illusions were nowhere near as good as Itachi’s. But during the great ninja war, everything changed. Sasuke received a powerful new eye called the Rinnegan. This gave him a level of power that went far beyond what Itachi ever had. He was finally able to stand on the same level as the most legendary ninjas in history.
Sasuke’s greatest moment happened when he looked at all nine Tailed Beasts at once. With just one glance, he put them all under a spell and froze them in place. These are the most powerful creatures in the world, and he beat them without even breaking a sweat. Itachi could only control one at a time, but Sasuke controlled all of them while he was busy fighting Naruto. This showed he had truly become the master of illusions.
In the newer story, Boruto, things have taken a sad turn for Sasuke. He lost his special eye during a surprise attack. This means he can no longer use those god-like powers. Many fans are upset because one of the strongest characters is now much weaker. For now, Sasuke is out of the fight, and it is up to the new generation to step up.
