The four-episode miniseries Man vs Baby, starring Rowan Atkinson as Bingley, ends on a heartwarming note after a series of chaotic events. The sequel to Man vs Bee can be enjoyed without watching the original film. It follows Bingley as he unexpectedly becomes responsible for an abandoned baby during Christmas.

Bingley, working as a temporary school helper, discovers an unattended baby after a school event. The infant is not who the school expected. Someone left the baby at the doorstep and disappeared. At the same time, Bingley accepts a well-paying house-sitting job to cover his daughter’s college fees. He tries contacting the police and social services, but the baby keeps hiding or wandering off, making rescue attempts difficult.

At the penthouse, Bingley hides the baby, whom he names Jesus, from Petra, the supervisor. She reassures him that the owners haven’t visited on Christmas for years. But Bingley soon faces one mishap after another, from a dog swallowing the lift key to a homeless couple secretly living in the building, and even accidentally handing the wrong baby to a social services officer. Amid the chaos, he struggles to feed, clean, and protect the baby.

In the final episode, the tension rises when Petra informs Bingley that the penthouse owners are arriving for Christmas. The appointed housekeeper cannot come due to heavy snowfall, leaving Bingley to prepare everything alone. He decorates the tree, cooks the feast, and sets up the home.

The owners never arrive, however, as Petra later admits she forgot to mention their flight was diverted. Bingley is left with a full Christmas spread and no guests—until unexpected visitors arrive. His ex-wife and daughter come after their flight is cancelled, joined by the homeless couple, their baby, and the social services worker. Together, they share a peaceful Christmas dinner, bringing closure after all the confusion. Just when things seem settled, the penthouse owners ring the doorbell, reminding Bingley that his streak of bad luck isn’t quite over.
