50 Cent has been openly mocking Sean “Diddy” Combs as the latter faces a federal sex trafficking trial. The two rappers have had a tense relationship for about a decade, and with the case underway, 50 Cent used his Instagram to share his thoughts on the situation.
He posted screenshots of court transcripts and made crude jokes about them. In one post, he wrote, “After listening to today’s testimony, I think the diddler should have took the plea offer.” He followed that with, “The s— they are saying is beyond me, so what do ya think?” In another post, he added, “This s— crazier than regular crazy.”
The feud between the two has played out publicly for years. 50 Cent has said in interviews that he’s just been speaking his mind for a decade and that his comments might seem outrageous but reflect what he’s long believed. In December 2023, 50 Cent also revealed that his production company was working on a documentary about Diddy’s life.
Their rivalry became even more visible in late 2024 when authorities raided Diddy’s homes in connection to the ongoing case. 50 Cent has expressed relief that he wasn’t involved in the parties where Diddy was reportedly the focus. At an October 2023 concert, 50 Cent joked about Diddy’s parties, saying they weren’t his scene and compared the vibe to being uncomfortable enough to prefer hanging out in the women’s bathroom.
The trial for Diddy is now in its fourth day, having started earlier this week with jury selection and opening statements.
