Kieron Pollard, one of the most iconic cricketers in Caribbean history, retired from the International cricket on Wednesday. the 33-years-old all-rounder cricketer ended his 15 years old stint with the West Indies cricket with an impeccable career. Kieron Pollard is presently playing in the IPL 2022 in India. He has so far played 123 ODIs and 101 T20Is for West Indies. Pollard was appointed as T20I and ODI captain of the West Indies team in 2019 and since then he led the team on various tours most importantly he led the side in the T20 world cup. Pollard couldn’t play in the tournament won by Darren Sammy led the side in 2016 as the player had pulled out of the tournament owing to an injury.
