This resulted in a walkover for Lee Zii Jia in the second round. The official page mentioned “Right Calf muscle pull. So gave walkover for today’s match. Kidambi Sreekanth won his first-round after thrashing a country-fellow opponent Sourabh Verma, With 9 consecutive points in the first game, Sreekanth won by 21-12 and then again second round by 21-11 where he scored 10 consecutive points. Earlier he accused the poor treatment from the health official in Thailand Open. He shared a picture of bleeding nose and also said that he had been taken 4 Covid-19 tests and neither was pleasant.
