Kidambi Sreekanth out from Thailand Open due to calf injury

Badminton Association of India officially announced that Kidambi Sreekath pulls out from Thailand Open due to his right calf muscle injury. This resulted in a walkover for Lee Zii Jia in the second round. The official page mentioned “Right Calf muscle pull. So gave walkover for today’s match. Should see how he improves in the next 5 days and then will decide about his participation in the next tournament”

Kidambi Sreekanth won his first-round after thrashing a country-fellow opponent Sourabh Verma, With 9 consecutive points in the first game, Sreekanth won by 21-12 and then again second round by 21-11 where he scored 10 consecutive points.
