Isuru Udana is a Sri-Lankan international cricketer that represents Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Dream11 IPL 2020. The 32-year-old is a left-arm fast-bowler and is a specialist in the T20 format of the game.
Udana was bought by RCB in the IPL auction ahead of the Dream11 IPL 2020 season for a price of 50 lakh Rupees, after impressive performances by the bowler for his national side. He has managed to be a regular figure in the Bangalore side under captain Virat Kohli and has played 8 matches so far, picking up 7 wickets at an average of 34.00.
In a recent interview Udana describes his teammates- Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Dale Steyn as legends of the game and how grateful he is to share the same pitch with them. He describes it as a big opportunity and learning experience for himself. “Virat Kohli, Ab De Villiers and Dale Steyn there are many legends, so it’s big opportunity for me and especially big experience. Playing with these legendary players is a big thing for me.”
