IPL 2020 final MI vs DC: After a staggering start, Iyer and Pant help Delhi reach 156 runs

The toss of the IPL 2020 final was won by DC and they opted to bat first against defending champions Mumbai Indians. A disastrous start for DC as they lost back to back wickets without enough runs on the board. The man in form Shikhar Dhawan also departed early without touching a good score. Rahane and Stoinnis also did not contribute much. Trent Boult was the man who struck for MI to put DC in despair.

Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant came to the side’s rescue as they both scored half centuries to help the team stabilise. Shreyas Iyer played a definite captains inning and led from the very front. Trent Boult took three wickets whereas Coulter- Nile took 2 wickets for MI. Maiden IPL final for DC and they definitely looked nervous but after the end of 20 overs, they stand at 156 runs for 7 wickets. MI to chase these runs to earn their fifth victory or DC will win their maiden.
