The India vs Australia series is all set to begin from tomorrow. After a long break, this is the first international series for India and also an important one. After a successful IPL in UAE, the Indian team flew to Australia and are now all set to take on the field. A lot of rounds around Rohit Sharma’s inclusion in the team went around. Rohit did not fly with the squad and their were questions if he will be doing it soon.
In a press conference ahead of the first match, Virat Kohli spoke about the issue. When asked about Rohit’s injury and his inclusion in the side, this is what Kohli said.
“There’s lack of clarity on Rohit Sharma’s status and i was expecting him to board the flight to Australia along with the squad.”
In the absence of Sharma, KL Rahil will be Kohli’s vice captain. The ODI’s will be played followed by T20’s and then finally the much awaited test series.
