The day when the Constituent Assembly approved the Indian Constitution. But it became effective on January 26, 1950. The constitution made India’s largest democracy in the world.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan took to his Twitter handle and shares a series of pictures including some featuring him holding an Indian flag. He wrote, “T 4172 – गणतंत्र दिवस की अनेक अनेक शुभकामनाएँ” He also shared a unique picture of himself sporting a tricolor beard that left netizens in splits.
