Demon Slayer Season 3: Release Date, Cast, Plot and everything you need to know!

Demon Slayer, which premiered in 2019, has won the hearts of all fans of anime. It is based on the best-selling manga series of the same name by Koyoharu Gotouge. Over the course of the anime series’ previous two seasons, which told the tale of Tanjiro Kamado, a member of the Demon Slayer Corp, and his demon sister Nezuko, we have laughed, wept, and already, fans are begging for more.

Demon Slayer is full of compelling drama, from thrilling fights to moving anime character backstories. Every new battle is riskier and hotter than the last as we see humanity and demons fight to the death. Therefore, it goes without saying that fans of television are eagerly anticipating what heart-pounding situations Tanjiro will encounter next. Fortunately, the third season of Demon Slayer has already been confirmed. That’s right, it’s time to remove your swords from their sheaths and get set to see the group behead some new creatures.

Despite all the excitement, you might be wondering what will ultimately happen to the Demon Slayer Corps. The Digital Fix has discovered all the information you want on the release date for Demon Slayer season 3 just as Tanjiro did. Here is everything to anticipate from the upcoming episode of the popular anime series, including information on its characters, trailer, narrative, and more.

Demon Slayer Season 3 Trailer

The third season of Demon Slayer has a trailer, which is wonderful news! Crunchyroll published a trailer for the series’ upcoming arc, Swordsmith Village, on April 20, 2022.  The video provides us an indication as to which Hashiras (the highest-ranking members of the Demon Slayer Corp) the next chapter will be about, even if the first part of the trailer essentially serves as a review of Demon Slayer season 2.

The second season of Demon Slayer had two narrative arcs, one of which focused on the Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku and the other on the Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui. A new group of Demon Slayer higher-ups is emphasized in the season 3 teaser: the Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji and the Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito.

So it appears like Tanjiro and the gang will once more join forces with the Hashira, much like they did in season 2.

Demon Slayer Season 3 Plot

As previously reported, the Crunchyroll teaser has revealed that the third season of Demon Slayer’s story would center on the Swordsmith Village arc. According to the series canon, the upcoming episode of the anime will cover chapters 100–127 of Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga.

The Swordsmith Village arc in the Demon Slayer manga occurs immediately after the Entertainment District arc, which was featured in Demon Slayer season 2. For those who don’t remember the previous chapter of the anime, Tanjiro, and Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui made history at the conclusion of Demon Slayer’s last season by beheading two of the Twelve Kizuki’s upper six members: the demonic twins Gyutaro and Daki.

The demon king Muzan Kibutsuji’s inner circle’s highest echelons, which had been immovable for ages, were shaken by the Demon Slayer gang, but Tanjiro also damaged his reliable demon-slaying sword in the course of the epic conflict.

Tanjiro needs to mend his sword before he can carry on battling and collect demon blood, which he needs for his mission to transform his sister Nezuko back into a human. Therefore, the astute hero travels to the Swordsmith Village so that Hotaru Haganezuka, a swordsmith associated with the Demon Slayer Corps, can fix his sword.

Fortunately, there is an antique weapon in the village the group goes to. The situation is not all rosy, though, as Tanjiro and his friends will undoubtedly run against one or more formidable demons while completing their tasks.

The Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji and the Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito will also be traveling with Tanjiro and company, as the video clearly made clear. So maybe all of our heroes will escape the Swordsmith Village alive with the assistance of the skilled Demon Slayers.

Demon Slayer Season 3 Cast

All of our series regulars appear to be returning for Demon Slayer season 3. Although the next episode is still far in the future, we can almost certainly anticipate Akari Kitô resuming the part of Nezuko and Natsuki Hanae returning to voice Tanjiro.

Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Inosuke Hashibira, Hiro Shimono as Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Toshihiko Seki will undoubtedly make a return as the series’ main antagonist Muzan Kibutsuji are other important cast members who are expected to return.

Demon Slayer Season 3 Release Date

The release date for Demons Slayer season 3 is unknown as of October 2022, but it is unquestionably coming. We can start to make some fairly good predictions about when we’ll next see Tanjiro and crew by taking a look at the regular production patterns used by the animation studio Ufotable.

When it comes to the releases of the Demon Slayer, Ufotable has always been remarkably reliable. Demon Slayer’s debut season was released in 2019. The second season of Demon Slayer then began airing in October 2021, and it concluded in February 2022. Given this, it is reasonable to assume that fans may anticipate a 12-month wait before season 3 is released.
