Virender Sehwag, mostly known for his aggressive batting style in all three formats. The former Indian opener had lately made some controversial remarks over the performance of Glenn Maxwell in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. The Australian only scored 108 runs in 13 matches. Kings XI paid a whopping amount of Rs 10.75 Crores to sign the Australian.
Sehwag not only criticized Maxwell for his poor performance. He further tagged him as a “10-Crore cheerleader, on a highly paid vacation to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).”
Glenn Maxwell has finally responded to the Sehwag’s Cheerleader remark. However, The Kings XI all-rounder didn’t drag Sehwag’s name through the mud. Rather, the Australian brushed off the remarks made by the former Indian cricketer and said he was fine with it.
The West Australian quoted him saying “It’s ok. Viru is pretty outspoken with his dislike of me, and that’s fine. He’s allowed to say whatever he likes.”
Maxwell, who goes by the name of ‘Big Show’, for his habit of clearing boundaries. The Kings XI batsmen didn’t even manage to hit even a single six in the entirety of IPL 2020.
