Air India changes logo to black colour on social media in solidarity of Kozhikode plane crash victims

After the crash of Air India Express flight to Kozhikode, the airline company turned its logo black on all social media platforms as a symbol of solidarity.

Yesterday an Air India Express plane coming from Dubai to Kozhikode skidded off the runaway at Karipur airport. The flight carried a total of 190 passengers.

The shocking incident killed almost 18 passengers, including two pilots and four children. At present a total of 149 victims are admitted to various hospitals in Kozhikode and Malappuram.

To express their grief about the tragic incident Air India has now turned its logo to black on social media.

Air India has about 38 thousand followers on instagram, 5.4lakh followers on facebook and 3.8 lakh followers on twitter. Originally the airline uses red and yellow but now it has changed it a black background with the airlines name and logo appearing in white.

Many people are taking to social media platforms to express their sorrow about the incident, changing their logo was a way Air india has used to express their grief.
