
Former ISRO chief, K Sivan congratulated for the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the moon. He said, “We are really excited…We have been waiting for this moment for a long time. I am very happy,”
The former ISRO chief also added that the government was with them supporting the mission.
While speaking to ANI, K Sivan said that the science data of Chandrayaan-3 was not only for India, but for global scientists. The data would be used by the scientists globally and new things would be covered from that data and that would be for the global interest.
Today, India has created history with the land of Chandrayaan-3 as it became the first country to successfully soft land on the South pole of the moon and the fourth country, after Russia, U.S and China to land on the moon.
After the successful landing, ISRO shared a tweet which read, ” I reached my destination and you too! Chandrayaan-3 has successfully soft-landed on the moon. ”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who joined this historic moment through a video link, after the landing said, ” India at Moon. Chanda Mama abb nhi dur ke.” in Hindi. He also said, “When we see such historic moments it makes us very proud. This is the dawn of new India.”
