The verge reported that Microsoft has proclaimed not to launch any updates on old CPUs for Windows 11 updates. It was further stated that updates for the driver and security will also be debarred.
Earlier Microsoft stated that the users won’t be blocked from initiating the launch of Window’s 11 on old computers as long as the recipients manually download and install the ISO file for use.
The tech company has allocated new features for the Windows 11 upgrade and the company has set to legalised the allocation of windows 11 updates on old PCs.
As per the reports windows, 11 will be said to have allegiance with Intel Core X-series, Xeon W-series, and the Intel Core 7820HQ. Though the users can download Windows 11 from ISO file they have to follow a long procedure of 64-bit CPU clocked at 1 GHz and above, with at least 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
Microsoft issued a statement saying that they have presumed that the viable 64-bit processors chose, 4GB of memory, 64GB of capacity, UEFI secure boot, designs prerequisites and TPM 2.0 are the right least situation necessities to follow through on the standards established to help its users.
They even said that a bunch of PC models meet the standards of running Intel seventh-gen processors that they didn’t necessarily collaborate with while programming.
