A Strategic Shift in Valorant Roster. The Indian esports organization gears up for the 2024 season with a major player swap and a hard reset.

On September 16th, Global Esports, an Indian esports organization, revealed that they had signed Benedict “Benkai” Tan, a star player from Paper Rex. On the same day, Paper Rex bid Benkai farewell and expressed gratitude for his contributions to the team.

Interestingly, Global Esports and Paper Rex have exchanged two players. Paper Rex announced the signing of Cahya “Monyet” Nugraha, a former Global Esports controller.

Despite a quiet season in the league, Benkai is still considered one of the best IGLs in esports. Before joining Valorant esports, Benkai was part of the Paper Rex Counter-Strike team and has been with the organization since 2020.
