
Xiaomi entered the business of tech with just mobile phones in its catalogue. Today, the company has varied set of products to offer which not only includes television sets and music system but also kitchen and home appliances such as steamer oven and vacuum cleaner. However, the flagship products for the Chinese firm will always be it smartphones.
The company in 2019 officially announced Redmi to be a separate sub-brand. Redmi is known for having user-friendly and pocket-friendly phones. Two of its series are ‘A series’ and ‘Note series’. We shall compare Xiaomi Redmi A1 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, based on its features.
Display
Xiaomi Redmi A1 comes with LCD screen with brightness of 400 nits. Its size is 6.52 inches with 81% screen-to-body ratio. The resolution is 720 x 1600 pixels.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 is almost at par with brightness as it offers 450 nits but it has better quality of screen which is super AMOLED. With 83.5% of screen-to-body ration, the phone is slightly smaller at 6.43 inches. It is protected by corning gorilla glass 3 with resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
Memory
Xiaomi Redmi A1 has a dedicated memory slot for micro SDXC chip. The phone offers 32 GB internal storage with 2 GB and 3 GB RAM.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 also has a dedicated memory slot for micro SDXC chip. The phone has much higher RAM and internal storage. The internal storage of 128GB is available with both 4GB and 6GB RAM, while 64GB is available with 4GB RAM.
Camera
Xiaomi Redmi A1 comes with 8 MP, f/2.0 (wide) camera and front camera of 5 MP f/2.2. The additional features include dual-LED flash and HDR with video quality of 1080 at 30 frames per second (fps).
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 is clearly built to differentiate itself in terms of camera quality. The model offers 4K vision at 30 fps and 1080 pixel at 30/60 fps. It has inbuilt four main cameras – 48 MP, f/1.8 26mm (wide), 8 MP f/2.2 (ultrawide), 2 MP f/2.4 (macro), 2 MP f/2.4 (depth). The additional features includes LED flash, HDR, and panorama. The selfie camera is of 13 MP, f/2.5 (wide) with HDR quality.
Battery
Xiaomi Redmi A1 has a powerful battery of 5000 mAh which is lithium polymer and non-removable. The charging for the same is 10W wired.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 also has lithium battery of 5000 mAh which is non-removable. As per the advertisement, the phone can be fully charged in 74 minutes and 50% charged in 25 minutes with 33W wired.
