On May 25, the Xiaomi Civi 3 is scheduled to launch. The Chinese smartphone company has published a number of posters showcasing the whole design of the Civi series smartphone in advance of its formal appearance. Optical image stabilisation (OIS) is rumoured to be supported by the 50-megapixel primary rear sensor of the Xiaomi Civi 3. The display has a pill-shaped notch that houses two 32-megapixel front-facing cameras, just like the Xiaomi Civi 2 that came before it. We may safely assume that a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC powers the Xiaomi Civi 3.
The Xiaomi Civi 3 debut is getting closer, thus Xiaomi has shared additional design information and technical data on Weibo. As previously established, the teasers depict the device as having curved edges and a display cutout in the style of a pill. It has a camera module in the shape of a circle and a dual-tone appearance.
It has been hinted that the Xiaomi Civi 3 would include a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS on the back. The device will include twin 32-megapixel selfie sensors for taking selfies and participating in video conversations. With a large 100-degree field of vision and a 78-degree beauty mirror, the selfie sensor will help with vlogging. They provide a portrait blurring function as well as 4K video recording capabilities. It is verified to weigh 173.5 grammes, have a thin body (7.56mm), and a wide (71.7mm) base.
The Xiaomi Civi 3’s May 25 release date was previously revealed by Xiaomi. In China, the launch ceremony will start at 2:00 p.m. local time (11:30 a.m. IST). The MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC is what the device will be powered by. It will undoubtedly be available in the colours Rose Purple, Adventure Gold, Coconut Grey, and Mint Green. The global launch of the new Civi phone has not yet received any comments from Xiaomi.
The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option of the Xiaomi Civi 2 had a starting price of CNY 2,399 (about Rs. 27,000) when it was introduced in China last year.
