We studied Xiaomi Redmi A1 and Samsung Galaxy M11 in order to compare the features of the two smartphones which pricing in the similar bracket.

Xiaomi Redmi A1 has dimensions of 164.9 x 76.8 x 9.1 mm with weight of 192 grams. It supports dual Nano-SIM.

Samsung Galaxy M11 has dimensions of 161.4 x 76.3 x 9 mm that weighs 197 grams. The phone has glass in the front and its back and frame made of plastic. It also supports Nano-SIM.

Display

Xiaomi Redmi A1 comes with IPS LCD screen with brightness of 400 nits. Its size is 6.52 inches with 81% screen-to-body ratio. The resolution is 720 x 1600 pixels.

Samsung Galaxy M11 has PLS LCD technology for display of 6.4 inches with 81.6% screen-to-body ratio. The resolution is 720 x 1560 pixels.

Memory

Xiaomi Redmi A1 has a dedicated memory slot for micro SDXC chip. The phone offers 32 GB internal storage with 2 GB and 3 GB RAM.

Samsung Galaxy M11 has internal storage of 32 GB with 3 GB RAM and 64 GB with 4 GB RAM. The phone allows expanding the storage space as it provides dedicated slot for micro SDXC chip.

Camera

Xiaomi Redmi A1 has two main cameras, 8 MP, f/2.0 (wide) and 0.08 MP (depth). It also has front camera of 5 MP f/2.2. The additional features include dual-LED flash and HDR with video quality of 1080 at 30 frames per second (fps).

Samsung Galaxy M11 has three main cameras – 13 MP f/1.8 (wide), 5 MP f/2.2 (ultrawide), 2 MP f/2.4 (depth) – with LED flash, panorama, and HDR feature. The selfie camera is 8 MP f/2.0 (wide) with HDR feature. The video quality is 1080p @ 30 fps for both cameras.

Xiaomi Redmi A1 has a powerful battery of 5000 mAh which is lithium polymer and non-removable. The charging for the same is 10W wired.

Samsung Galaxy M11 has powerful battery of 5000 mAh which is lithium ion and non-removable. The charging for the same is 15W wired.
