Oppo A16e vs Xiaomi Redmi Note 11SE: Here’s everything you need to know for your next phone

Redmi and Oppo have gained immense and have often witnessed targeting the same segment of market. The two Chinese brands have their horns locked with their smartphone business.

Xiaomi announced Redmi as a separate brand in 2019. The brand is known for delivering some of the finest smartphones in the industry. The Chinese company has given a tough competition to the pioneers of the industry. One of the brands, which can be considered a rival competitor for Redmi is Oppo, an another China based brand.

We have analyzed one phone from each brand – Oppo A16e and Xiaomi Redmi Note 11SE – to compare its physical attributes, features and other functions.

Oppo A16e has dimensions of 164 x 75.4 x 7.9 mm and weighs 175 grams. The phone is built with plastic frame and plastic on the back with glass front. It supports dual Nano-SIM.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11SE is slightly small as it is 161.8 x 75.3 x 8.9 mm in size and weigh of 190 grams. It has a similar front of glass and supports dual Nano-SIM.

Oppo A16e has employed IPS LCD technology of display with brightness of 480 nits. The display size is 6.52 inches with 83% screen-to-body ratio. It has resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and protection of corning gorilla glass 3.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11SE has similar technology of IPS LCD for its display. The refreshing rate is 90 Hz and brightness of 400 nits. The display size is similar to Oppe A16e as it measures 6.5 inches with 83.7% screen-to-body ratio. It has better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.

Platform

Oppo A16e supports Android 11 operating system. It is expected to have chipset of Mediatek MT6762D and octa-core (2.0 GHz) of CPU.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11SE also has Android 11 operating system. It has Mediatek MT6833 chipset and octa-core (2×2.2 GHz) CPU.

Memory

Oppo A16e has internal storage of 32 GB and 64 GB with RAM of 3 GB and 4 GB respectively. The storage can also be expanded as it provides a dedicated slot for micro SDXC.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11SE has sufficient internal storage of 128 GB with 4 GB and 8 GB RAM. The model does not allow expanding the storage via external means.

Camera

Oppo A16e has main camera of 13 MP f/2.2 (wide) with LED flash, panorama, and HDR feature. The front camera is 5 MP f/2.4 (wide) with HDR feature. The video quality is 1080 pixels @ 30 frames per second (fps) for both cameras.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11SE has indeed better quality as it is expected to have two main camera modules of 48 MP f/1.8 (wide), 2 MP f/2.4 (macro). It includes features such as dual-LED dual-tone flash, HDR, and panorama. The selfie camera is 8 MP f/2.0 (wide). The video quality for both – front and back – cameras is 1080p @ 30 fps.

Battery

Oppo A16e have 4230 mAh battery of lithium polymer. The non-removable battery supports wired charging of 10W.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11SE has rather powerful battery of 5000 mAh. The non-removable lithium polymer battery can be charged with 18W.
