Xiaomi has been successfully operating its sub brand Poco in the competitive market of smartphone. On the other hand is Nokia, which has been reformed its product. Nokia’s Nokia C31 and Xiaomi’s Poco C50 has similarities when it comes to looks.
This made us wonder about their features, so we studied both the smartphones on following basis.
Body
Nokia C31 has dimensions of 169.2 x 78 x 8.6 mm that weighs 200 grams. The phone has glass in front with its back and frame made of plastic. It supports dual Nano-SIM and is splash resistant.
Xiaomi Poco C50 has dimensions of 164.9 x 76.8 x 9.1 mm that weighs 192 grams and supports dual Nano-SIM. The phone is dust and splash resistant.

Nokia C31 has IPS LCD technology for display of 6.75 inches with 83.4% screen-to-body ratio. The resolution is 720 x 1600 pixels.
Xiaomi Poco C50 has IPS LCD technology for display with 400 nits of brightness. The size of display is 6.52 inches with 81% screen-to-body ratio. The resolution is 720 x 1600 pixels.
Memory
Nokia C31 has internal storage of 32 GB with 3 GB RAM, 64 GB and 128 GB with 4 GB RAM. It also allows expanding the storage space with micro SDXC chip and provides a dedicated slot for the same.
Xiaomi Poco C50 has internal storage of 32 GB with RAM of 2 GB and 3 GB. The phone allows expanding the storage as it provides dedicated slot for micro SDXC.
Camera
Nokia C31 has three main cameras – 13 MP (wide), 2 MP (macro), 2 MP (depth) – with LED flash and HDR feature. The video quality is 1080 pixels @ 30 frames per second (fps). The selfie camera is 5 MP.
Xiaomi Poco C50 has two main camera modules – 8 MP f/2.0 (wide) and 0.08 MP (depth) – with dual-LED flash and HDR feature. The selfie camera is 5 MP f/2.0. The video quality for both cameras is 1080 pixels @ 30 frames per second (fps).
Battery
Nokia C31 and Xiaomi Poco C50 has similar lithium polymer battery of 5000 mAh. The non-removable batteries can be charged with 10W charging.
Platform
Nokia C31 has Android 12 operating system with Unisoc SC9863A chipset and octa-core CPU of 4×1.6 GHz.
Xiaomi Poco C50 has Android 12 operating system. The chipset is Mediatek MT6761 and CPU Quad-core 2.0 GHz.
